Exhibits trace the development of High Point from a small Quaker village through the establishment of the furniture and textile industries to a technology-based international business center. The historic park is home to the Hoggett House (1754), the Haley House (1786), and a working blacksmith shop.
This historical museum was created in 2000 to honor the legacy of Miss Rosetta C. Baldwin, her family, and the many African Americans who have contributed to the development of the High Point community.
