Through this exhibit, you will have the opportunity to see displays of exotic animals you may otherwise never encounter. Highlights of the exhibit include a polar bear and a mountain goat from Alaska, sheep and goitered gazelle from Iran, and a leopard, a zebra, an elephant, a reedbuck, a lion, a gnu, an impala, and a rhinoceros from Africa.

Mary and Marvin Johnson's Gourd Museum

Housed in Angier's Downtown Municipal Building. Large collection of gourds made into lamps, teapots, toy animals as well as musical instruments including drums and chimes. Very large gourds also on display.
