82nd Airborne Division War Memorial Museum

Established in 1945 to collect, preserve, exhibit, and interpret the history of the Division from 1917 to the present. The primary purpose of the museum is to tell the military and civilian communities about the Division in World Wars I and II, airborne development in the early 1940s, the major airborne campaign of World War II, and the history of the 82nd Airborne Division following World War II

ACC Hall of Champions

Alamance Battleground State Historic Site

The housing shortage at the end of World War II prompted Cannon Textile Company to erect 100 prefabricated homes for returning veterans. One historical GI home has been preserved and furnished with household items from the era.

Historic Durham Athletic Park
